Internet and publishing house: we program publishing websites

Since the foundation of the company in 2003, we have experience with the automated creation of publishing websites from VLB data. In the beginning we programmed exclusively for our own use, for Reichel Verlag. Now we are comprehensively modernizing the technologies used and are opening up for all publishers in the VLB. The business model Reichel Verlagsservice was created in 2019. Date of birth: Buchmessen 2020.

We rely on websites created in advance. These are unbeatably fast, secure, scalable and cheap. Today's modern term JAMstack perfectly reflects our previous philosophy. The development of a website creation system is done by a dream team of developers (PhD mathematician), testers (quality manager) and consultants (mathematician).

The Internet, with its many possibilities, is unique and is developing very fast. We believe that publishers have a need to inform on the Internet about their products and be found with their publishing program.

The Verzeichnis Lieferbarer Bücher (VLB) is an important and great idea. Metadata sell books.

The digitalization of books, audiobooks and music and the digital delivery of e-boooks and audio downloads is another great story. Publishers get new digital editions of their physical titles. All editions of a title are linked in the VLB and accordingly also on publishing websites. Links to stationary and digital bookstores can be set on the publishing website.

Another great idea is the do-it-yourself approach. With our machinery, publishers can easily and conveniently have their own publishing websites created from their VLB data at the touch of a button: "Publishing service, beam me online!"
